Taking the time to break the Sidepass down into the smallest tasks,
And having a simple way to track your horses responsiveness and progress,
Is the fastest and easiest way to develop a flowing, graceful Sidepass, with a willing horse.

The Sidepass challenge includes the simplified tasks and instruction,
So you can practice individual parts rather than feeling overwhelmed,
And avoid pushing your horse to do the whole Sidepass and having the quality suffer.

Good Online Instruction!
I didn't even know I needed to figure out some things with the side pass!

Very good instruction and both my horses and mostly me figured out things to eventually do a much better side pass.  Thank you, Trish!

Fun and outcome
"What a nice way to teach your horse. In your own time and on your own location.

Trish teaches you all the small steps that lead to performance of the exercises. Without stress, so bonding with the horse only improves.

Fresh tips!
"I found the systematic breakdown of the sidepass powerful.

I have studied several masters but this is the first time I found subtle details that will allow the rider and horse to step through the move in a manner that is learned rather than forced."

Great way to start back

I work away from home for 2 months or so at a time. This always leaves my horse and myself starting up again, reconditioning and getting back into the swing of things frequently. This course is great for starting back up with simple to follow instructions from beginning to end. You can go as fast or as slow as needed. My mare is reasonably well schooled however tends to be nervous and impatient, we have spent the first 3 days back riding just practicing going over the pole, stopping and waiting quietly before moving on. She is much more relaxed and today maybe we will start some side pass. Thank you Trish for a well laid out and easy to follow program!

Correction of learned habits

The advice was spot on for correcting some problems and Trish can read a photo very well to diagnose what is going on!

Side Pass Challenge

Who would have thought you could learn riding skills on-line?! It is possible and it's fun! The format for the challenge was well laid out with specific comments and suggestions for improvement which included follow-up exercises . Personally I also find it helpful to see the end product with comments in the lesson before attempting the skill myself. The on-line lessons provide some flexibility in time management as well.

Helpful for beginners or more advanced horses and riders.

A good lesson format Trish with very simple and pertinent exercises. These would be helpful for beginners or more advanced horses and riders as a guide to checking the quality of the task. I personally found this helpful.

"It addressed the main weaknesses in execution of an obstacle and gave me tools to help myself as well as my horse. I was able to improve my obstacle work by following the clear directions.

I saw the sport in a new light!"

I liked the step by step videos and having access to video transcripts.
