From the comfort of your own home, learn the secrets to
Ride a course that benefits your horse's training
Recognize challenges and best course lines for your horse
Understand Working Equitation Obstacle rules, and
Significantly reduce your chance of DQing and wasting your entry fees
In Your Dressage Trial:
You have a specific pattern to ride.
You improve your score both by how your horse goes,
and how accurate you are at riding the specific lines designated in the pattern.
They are non-negotiable.
In Your Ease of Handling and Speed Trials:
You have to complete the obstacles in numbered order
You have to use the correct hand,
approach on the correct bend,
not cross through an unworked obstacle, and so much more...
But you are Not told the lines to ride This is your choice and part of the strategy
Do you go for a higher score on a more technical line and possibly blow it?
Or do you take the safer, easier, but lower scoring line?
And how do you choose?
looking at the course map and doing my best to memorize where I had to go. Then on the course walk , map in hand, I realized it only somewhat resembled the course in front of me.
The lines I drew on my course map, and thought I was going to ride, were different lengths than I imagined.
And who put 'that' one in the middle of where I planned to ride?
Sure I got to walk the course; good thing. But there’s not much time to make a new plan when I’m still trying to remember the order of the obstacles, and I’m the third rider up.
I remember thinking, where’s number 3, and 4? Am I supposed to trot that one or canter it?
Maybe you’ve had these thoughts too. You finish your ride, breathe out and think “Oh good, I didn’t DQ" Then you watch the next rider who takes a different line than you on one of the obstacles and think well, huh. Why didn’t I go that way?
You are not alone. This is very common.
That’s why I created the Rider Strategy Camp.
A place to give you the tools you need, to understand:
How the rules apply to your level.
Which lines are generally too tight, or short.
Where you could have taken a more efficient, higher scoring line.
You will be drawing and receiving feedback on your chosen routes on a variety of maps, designed to scale, so you can train your eye.
With practice, and the feedback you receive in our private community, you will recognize the best line choices for your horse, more quickly.
When you see a live course, you'll be able to recognize the challenges that have been added, whether intentionally, or accidentally. You can then choose whether to accept them, or find an easier path, based on how your horse feels that day.

Trish is extremely responsive to each homework assignment and challenges you to "think" your way through solutions rather than just give you the quick way out.
Looking at other folks maps and comments helped me make more sense of what was going on. If you're willing to put in the effort you will come out with a wealth of knowledge to help you in your Working Equitation course riding goals. I'm happy I did.
When you join the Rider Strategy Camp you: Learn to recognize, the challenges created by riding different lines. Then choose to avoid, or accept those challenges.
Imagine what Your Ease of Handling or Speed trial ride would look like if you...
knew exactly how each obstacle relates to the others.
could instantly recognize the challenges the designer has included in the course.
could choose the ones that showcase your horse’s skills and training.
People join Rider Strategy Camp:
